  • Load table for Eurobeam

    Hi Tony
In the load table under the column headings when designing timber post the figures 6.10 appear above the load values as shown below.
    Is this correct?

Calculations for timber post/stud to BS EN1995 using C16 timber
    Location: 1
Pos Dur Load kN Factored Offset Moment y-y Moment z-z
    6.10 6.10 6.10
    A G 5.00 6.75
    Y G 2.00 2.70
    Total load ̅5̅.̅0̅0̅ ̅6̅.̅7̅5̅ ̅2̅.̅7̅0̅ ̅0̅.̅0̅0̅

    Re: Load table for Eurobeam

Yes, as designed. 6.10 is the equation (conservative) used to factor loads (deadx1.35, livex1.50). The other alternative is to take the worse value from equations 6.10a/6.10b - see the manual. In the next release I'll bracket these '(6.10)' to make it clear that they're not loads.
