Stud wall

Can i design a stud wall using superbeam I:e vertical studs @ 500 centres point load on each or all the area

Designing stud walls is simple just consider them as a series of posts

I work out the vertical load per metre then work out the load per stud so that's load per metre x stud centres

So looking at say 47 x 97 stud the height would be actual height (1.0L) for the 97 depth and then maybe 0.5L for the 47 width as there would be noggins between the studs
