    Dear Tony

I have found that if you deselect from having a pair of beams and want only a single beam, the notes about bolting the beams together still appears in the notes section.

Thanks for pointing this out. We've modified this in ProSteel 5.50c and EuroBeam 1.21g, and will do so in the next SuperBeam release so that if you change back to a single section beam and the steel note text comprises the standard text ('Sections to be bolted together with tube spacers or suitable alternative connections at max 1.5m c/s') and nothing else it is now automatically removed.

      Dear Tony

just downloaded latest superbeam and it still does not remove the note about bolting beams when going from two beams to one beam.

I've checked it out and it works here. The standard note is only removed on going from two or three sections to one if the text has not been changed in any way and it is the only note.

Sorry Tony, yes you are right - don't know what was happening before.

ps are you a cricket follower and if so what are the reaction of your Aussie friends to the Ashes result?
